Events taking place in the state immediately become the property of the general public due to prompt coverage in the news and the media. However, until now unsolved questions remain semantic changes in vocabulary, appearance the emergence of neonym, and study the determinologization features in the media and socio-political texts. Today Ukrainian society is characterized by a bright and extraordinary language of political communication. Ukrainian society is the creator of vivid, well-aimed, witty language as an original reaction on the political life of the country. The powerful arsenal of facilities of Ukrainian phraseology, periphrases, original occasional word is involved in a modern social and political journalism. Those are passive components of vocabulary marking today’s realities or calling people for their fine move, coming emotional characteristics and description.

In the political media language, the terms of many branches of knowledge are used for different purposes such as a description of the events taking place in modern society, the popularization of science, the new technologies and inventions, and so on. Intellectualization of modern journalistic texts on socio-political topics leads to the extension of their deterministic lexemes borrowed from various fields of Ukrainian scientific and technical terminology. The Ukrainian media language (the language of political communication) promptly responds to events and processes taking place in society by creating the situational novelties on the pages of newspapers and the Internet network, by adapting borrowed words, and using various phraseological units or paroemia, etc. The aim of such neologisms is to operatively reflect the events and serve as its objective reflection in the country. Neonyms are original political folklore of contemporaneity, as more fully called the phenomenon and contain an assessment of social and political events. The research of manipulative technologies in media language is to promote the true coverage of social and political life of the country, prevent the distortion of information and form the own citizens’ viewpoint without imposing of beneficial reactions by certain people.

Keywords: socio-political text, lexeme, term, neologism, occasional word.

LEGEND

VZ – «High castle».

DT – «The mirror of the week».

D – «The day».

ZMI – Mass-media.

SV – «Village news».

UM – «Ukraine is young».

ZiK – «West and culture».

REFERENCES

Besançon, Alain.
