Zagrebelnyi. It comments upon the semantics of the lexeme «land», represented by the novelist’s language creation, in comparison with its lexicography concept. It identifies the components of the cognitive codes that simulate the equipollent concepts «native land» – «foreign land» in the writer’s conceptosphere. The nuclear and peripheral areas of the concept were described. In its peripheral area that in the artistic discourse of P. Zagrebelnyi is a rather extensive polysegmental structure, there are two semantic spheres, the centers of which appear in the nature and human. All that is the result of the associative understanding of the environment realities is shaped in the biomorfious code of the figurative field of the concept to which belong such semantic attributes: the objects of inanimate nature, the heavens and heavenly bodies, the constant realities and seasonal natural phenomena, birds, plants, colors, smells. Mental images, the formation base of which is underlain by a metaphorical reinterpretation of the «man-made» realities or spiritual acquisitions that are associated with different human activities, united in the anthropomorphic code, which on its turn is divided into the following subcodes: theosophical, sacred-moral, onimous, socio-spatial, folklore-mythological and welcoming. It is concluded that the specific word uses in the prose language of P. Zagrebelniyi determine a contents scope of the concept «land», in which opposition of the conceptual spheres «native» – «foreign» is the most relevant. Put into words in P. Zagrebelniyi’s language formation the concept «land» appears as a ramified system of images (cognitive codes) and linguistic units (concepts) that form a branched semantic field.

Keywords: concept sphere, concept, sema, individual language picture of the world, the context.

LEGEND

Диво – Zahrebelnyi, P.A. (2006). Miracle: Novel.
