Abstract:<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>The article analyzes the updating of the categorical structure of the Modern Ukrainian on the basis of new derivatives that function in media texts.<\/p>\n

The following word-formation categories are considered: category of person, category of characteristic, action category. It is analyzed how in each of these categories there are processes of updating the form, semantics and dynamics of the word-formation norms.<\/p>\n

The peculiarities of the implementation of these word-formation categories in word-formation nests are determined, depending on the origin of the base word of the nest. In word-formation nests of specific origin there is an update of the semantics of the derivative names of the person (\u0434\u0435\u0440\u0436\u0430\u0432\u043d\u0438\u043a<\/i><\/em>), new coinages of action category\u00a0discover pragmatic charge (\u0443\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0457\u043d\u043d\u0456\u0448\u0430\u0442\u0438<\/i><\/em>, \u0440\u043e\u0437\u0443\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0457\u043d\u044e\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0438<\/i><\/em>). In word-formation nests of foreign origin, there are phenomena of competition and differentiation of derivatives \u2013 word-formation variants (\u0456\u043d\u0442\u0435\u0440\u043d\u0435\u0442\u0456\u0432\u0435\u0446\u044c, \u0456\u043d\u0442\u0435\u0440\u043d\u0435\u0442\u043d\u0438\u043a<\/i><\/em>\u00a0|| \u043c\u0435\u0440\u0435\u0436\u043d\u0438\u043a, \u043c\u0435\u0440\u0435\u0436\u0435\u0432\u0438\u043a<\/i><\/em>, \u043c\u0435\u0440\u0435\u0436\u0430\u043d\u0438\u043d<\/i><\/em>). Neo-semantismies, as a result of re-borrowing with other meanings, forms new spheres of a cognitive space or reorganizes already existing ones (\u0434\u0440\u0430\u0439\u0432\u0435\u0440<\/i><\/em>\u043d<\/i><\/em>\u0438\u0439<\/i><\/em>\u00a0functions as a term in the computer field and psychology; \u0434\u0440\u0430\u0439\u0432\u0435\u0440<\/i><\/em>\u0441\u044c\u043a<\/i><\/em>\u0438\u0439<\/i><\/em>\u00a0as a motor vehicle term).<\/p>\n

Consequently, in the cognitive space of modern Ukrainian, we observe the emergence of new conceptual spheres\u00a0(\u0456\u043d\u0442\u0435\u0440\u043d\u0435\u0442<\/i><\/em>), as well as the development and reorganization of already existing, activated\u00a0(\u0434\u0435\u0440\u0436\u0430\u0432\u0430<\/i><\/em>, \u0431\u0456\u0437\u043d\u0435\u0441<\/i><\/em>).<\/p>\n
