AUTHORSHIP AND CO-AUTHORSHIP
The authorship policy of the scientific and theoretical journal “Ukrainian language” meets the requirements and recommendations of COPE, Elsevier and EASE.
All persons listed in the original article as its authors have made a significant contribution to the research performed.
All persons listed as authors must meet the authorship criteria:
– make a significant contribution to the creation of the concept and methodology of the study, collect, analyze and interpret empirical material;
– participate in writing or revising the article to improve its scientific level;
– be responsible for all aspects of the study related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of it;
– approve the final version of the article.
The editorial board does not limit the number of authors of a particular publication
The authors of the article cannot be changed during its review stage. In the event of a dispute between authors regarding their contribution after the submission of the article, the editorial board shall suspend work on it until the authors are notified of the final resolution of all disputed issues.
The sequence of co-authors in the article shall be based on their joint decision on the significance of each of their contributions.
The author of a publication may not be a person:
– who has not made a significant contribution, but is only its sponsor;
– who has not made a significant contribution, but is listed in the list of authors to increase the chances of its publication;
– whose scientific contribution is based exclusively on his or her weak participation in the research.
A person who participates in the research, but does not meet the criteria of the journal “Ukrainian language” regarding authorship, must be indicated in the footnote “Participants” or “Consultants”. For example, a person who helped with the research with advice, provided search space, supported financially, etc.
