Abstract: Scientific article contains determining the direction of leading Ukrainian modern lexicography to secure renewed source basis. The article is devoted to the history of compilling of The Ukrainian Language Dictionary on 11 volumes that for many reasons is still unexcelled achievement of the Ukrainian lexicography. In addition, this approach is used for lexis systemizing in order to learn deeper the dynamical processes in The Summary Word Index of Ukrainian Lexis (the End of 18th – the Beginning of 21th Centuries). The Index Dictionary is an open lexicographical System and a strong base for the development of the modern integrated lexicography. The basic steps in the development of the author᾿s lexicography, the base of sources for the compilation of writing dictionaries are covered. The necessity of systematic study of the lexical composition of modern Ukrainian language, which provides a combination of the main branches of academic lexicography, is emphasized. The combined vocabulary of the language of the creative personality is considered as an opportunity through the means and means of verbalization of individual world modeling to know the ideology of the artist – the phenomenon of his linguistic personality. It is emphasized on the necessity of systematic study of the lexical composition of modern Ukrainian language, which provides a combination of the main branches of academic lexicography. The sources of the vocabulary of the language of the creative personality are highlighted, the purpose of the lexicographic study of the lexical – phraseological system of the Ukrainian language is outlined taking into account the latest theoretical and practical achievements of the national lexicology, phraseology and lexicography.
